We were very pleased to welcome 5 journalists and 1 photographer to GKF's first Media Day. The purpose was to introduce the work of the Foundation and to give the journalists an insight into what kiting is all about.
The journalists represented national press, including Kathimerini, Real News and E-typos. After an initial introduction, they each got their own flying lessons with GKF Instructor Stefanos Averkiou, and then had a chance to watch 3 participants from the Wind that Works workshops show off their new skills, and to find out first hand what kiting and these workshops mean to them.
We look forward to organizing more Media Days in the future. A special thank you to Dimitrios Machairidis for assisting in organizing the day and to Karavi Beach Club, Marathonas for hosting the event.
